Welcome! I'm Amanda, the creator behind Rourke Planners.

I'm here to give you the tools to make your life better. I want to help you get your day to day shizz together. But more importantly, I want to help you really achieve your goals and create a better you. Planners not only help you get all your to-dos on paper (instead of randomly screaming at your brain when you're trying to focus on something else), but they can help you really achieve your goals for work and life. Most people want to make something of themselves, and you can't do that if you're just constantly reacting to life. You need to be proactive - and I'm here to help you with that. I write about planners, organization, and productivity because these topics all work together to help you be a more effective human being. I hope you get inspired from my site, and see that you can really accomplish anything, as long as you plan it out.

A bit more about me if you're interested - I live on the North Side of Chicago, love meal planning and a $5 Riesling. I enjoy Netflix and the environment. I can count on 2 hands how many selfies I've ever taken. I would wear flannel and denim every day if I could. I can be incredibly sarcastic and if I could I would communicate mainly if the format of GIFs. I don't do overused inspirational quotes and can be a bit curmudgeonly. My music of choice is late 90s/early 00s hip hop, 70s rock, and Britney Spears. Finally, it truly brings me joy to see people using and progressing with my planners (I had to put something cheesy in here).
