Health Issue Tracker | Freebie Friday
Happy Friday! It is finally feeling like spring today! Today's freebie would have been useful last week. I get migraines. Not super bad migraines, but migraines that don't go away without prescription meds and keep me from doing anything productive for more than 15 minutes at a time. Anyone who suffers from headaches or migraines knows that when you finally cut out something that triggers them, life is so much sweeter. But to cut out the trigger, you have to know what the trigger is, first.
Today's freebie is a little health issue tracker to help you get in tune with your body. By writing down every time an issue comes up - whether it be a headache, allergies, or tummy troubles - and writing down probable triggers and cures, you'll be able to learn more about your problem and you'll be able to get to the root of the problem.
Here's an example - a couple years ago, I kept getting dizzy and lightheaded when it was hot. I thought it was anemia, but tests came back negative. I found the real problem was I have low blood pressure and I need a hell of a lot of water when it's hot out. Like a lot. So I started keeping water bottles in the fridge (along with some lemon wedges) and tracking my water intake and I started feeling a lot better. I also get headaches/migraines when I'm dehydrated plus another trigger (sugar/tension/hangover).
In addition to figuring things out for yourself, often your doctor will ask you to track your issue, so it's good to have everything in one place.
